Speakers from Lighthouse include volunteer leaders, alumni, staff and clients whose experience within Central Florida’s community of blind and visually impaired tap universal concepts such as overcoming adversity, self-advocacy, perseverance, inclusion, and empowerment.
Lighthouse maintains a solid corps of speakers available to address schools, church groups, university groups, civic associations or any other gathering.
Whether sighted or visually impaired, our speakers offer deeply insightful commentary on the Lighthouse mission and the importance of empowering Central Floridians, and indeed all people, who live with vision loss, to be fully engaged, contributing members of society.
