Lighthouse recently received a $3000 grant to landscape and beautify the grounds at their College Park location on New Hampshire Street. The funds were disbursed from BB&T Bank as part of a volunteer project initiated by three of the bank’s branches in Central Florida.

Volunteers from branches in Longwood (East and West), as well as Winter Park also devoted several hours to dig in the dirt alongside Lighthouse staffers as part of the initiative. The building, located at 215 East New Hampshire Street, is the instructional facility for Lighthouse Central Florida, where classes and programmatic activities are provided to clients of all ages.
